Responsibilities:
 Estimating self-performed projects which typically range from 1 million to 30 million dollars; including pricing labor, equipment, and material costs.
 Working knowledge of construction assemblies and all project phases.
 Ability to produce detailed, accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings.
 Ability to assess site exposures/construction risks and be able to appropriately analyze cost and reflect these in an estimate.
 Identify constructability issues through the estimating process.
 Identify and propose value-engineering alternatives.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred (Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar)
2 - 4 years heavy civil estimating or related field construction experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
HCSS/Agtek/Bluebeam Experience Preferred
Strong organization and planning skills
Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
