Snelling of NoCo is seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager for an established design-build firm, specializing in residential remodels and additions. Our client specializes in bathroom, kitchen, basement and bedroom remodels and provides a full-service start-to-finish experience for their clients, with offices located in beautiful Old Town Fort Collins.
The Residential Construction Project Manager will be hiring subcontractors, working with engineers and architects as needed, and keeping track of an inventory of equipment and materials.
The ideal applicant will be highly organized, confident, enthusiastic, with the ability to plan-ahead and multitask in order to meet deadlines and keep projects under budget. This person should enjoy working with and developing relationships with our discerning clientele.
Salary: $70,000-100,000 DOE
Residential Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee construction projects from beginning to end
Ability to oversee several projects at any given time
Manage the budget and estimate costs
Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team
Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
Hire contractors and staff including construction laborers
Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects
Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, and prepare progress reports regularly
Residential Construction Project Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or experience in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
10 years’ experience in residential home building and remodeling
Strong and proven leadership skills
Familiarity with construction and project management software programs, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources
Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
Excellent time management, with the ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills
