Cypress Employment has a client in Birmingham looking for awning installers.
Job Description:
Installing permanent awnings, patio covers, retractables and other shading equipment. Removal of aging covers. Complete daily tasks, loading and unloading of materials. Cleaning job sites after completion of work. Driving to and from job site using a company truck.
Requirements:
Must have a valid drivers license
Must have a clean driving record (MVR)
Must have basic hand tool knowledge
Must be comfortable with heights and climbing ladders
Must have construction experience
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to read plans and shop drawings
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with team-leading is a plus but not required
Experience with installing awnings, is a plus but not required
MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and MVR
Pay:
$17 - $20 per hour DOE
Schedule
: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
