What you will be doing in year 1:
Ensure the completion of the construction and other projects they are assigned to
Keep owners, operators and other stakeholders up to date on status and progress of the work by constant communication
Ensure project information is up to date maintaining information in related systems
Participate in stakeholder meetings to identify property goals and objectives if necessary and must be responsive to the owner's needs and objectives
Learn critical operating systems in order to execute work
Help ResProp grow by demonstrating constructional excellence
Assist in the business development process by working with the Director of Construction or Regional Maintenance Director in evaluating or underwriting new projects
The ideal candidate:
Has first-hand experience in construction and rehab contracting or construction management a wide variety of project types. Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Will be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Is willing to travel to project locations as needed
Possesses excellent skills in the management and motivation of contractors through clear leadership
Has experience coordinating multiple projects at the same time
