SUMMARY

Iyabak Construction, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Welder/Operator/POL Fuels Manager for Multiple, JBER AK. This position will be support various Davis Bacon projects in the field as an operator and welder, and will be bidding and managing our USACE POL IDIQ project efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble POL and Fuel proposals and pricing

Site manager and QC for POL and Fuel projects

Structural Welding

Operator

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

Associates Degree

Ten (10) years of related experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Knowledge of project estimating

Ability manage and supervisor site

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed both in an office setting and in the field; with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system/exposure to job site conditions and manual labor as required by specific project. Occasional travel may be required.

Field Supervisory duties based on POL project requirements.1

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
