Construction Attorney
Bricker & Eckler LLP seeks an associate to join its Construction Law Practice Group. 2 years’ experience in the practice of construction law is preferred.
Candidates should also possess excellent academic credentials, high ethical standards, strong writing, analytical and communication skills, a desire to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team. Must possess strong workload management skills and be able to work with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments. Office preference flexible (Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and/or, Dayton).
Employee Benefits Attorney
Bricker & Eckler LLP is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join their Labor & Employment team. Successful candidates will have at least 7 years experience working with employee benefits. Additional experience in the design, implementation and administration of qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, executive compensation plans, insurance benefits, fringe benefits, deferred compensation, and incentive bonus programs are a plus.
Candidates should also possess strong academic credentials and ethical standards, exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to work both independently or collaboratively with a team. Office location may be flexible and part-time arrangements will be considered.

Successful candidates will have at least 3 years of labor/employment experience or experience representing K-12 schools or other public entities. Higher Education Attorney
Bricker & Eckler LLP is currently seeking an attorney to join its expanding Higher Education law team. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in general higher education issues with a particular focus on one or more of the following: general litigation, administrative agency complaints, public records, student affairs, employment, investigations, Title IX, ADA, Clery Act, FERPA, financial aid, accreditation, data security and privacy, general transactional matters, and/or risk management.
Candidates should also possess exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Office location may be flexible and part/full-time arrangements are welcome.
Practice Support Attorney/Manager
Bricker & Eckler LLP is currently seeking an experienced Practice Support Attorney or Manager to provide support to all legal departments in the areas of e-discovery training, project management, processing, document review and production. The ideal candidate would have 3 years’ experience – preferably in a law firm setting – with data collection, use of technology to facilitate civil and/or criminal discovery and the end-to-end lifecycle management of litigation support matters. In addition, candidate should have some familiarity with of FTP, Sharefile, Dropbox, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and Adobe Acrobat, and a basic working knowledge of the EDRM lifecycle.
Candidates should also possess strong academic credentials, exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. JD, Bachelor’s Degree and/or other relevant certifications are a plus. Office location may be flexible.
