Job Summary

Responsible for managing straight-forward to moderately complex construction projects through entire project lifecycle (inception, approval, planning, execution, and closeout) and coordinating technical aspects of projects (design, development, integration and test, trial and deployment). Acts as a field liaison with appropriate personnel to ensure project compliance to standards. Coordinate moderately complex high priority tasks. Assure functionality and performance metrics requirements are defined. Initiate, facilitate, and monitor specific intradepartmental and cross-functional construction project progress and performance to assure quality and on time delivery. Ensure milestone dates are met and continued progress throughout entire process, including quality control checks. Monitor risks during various stages of the project while solving/escalating issues to the appropriate level of management. Maintain project status reports on projects while updating database administration. Create and manage contingency plans for projects. Evaluate impact change request against communicated timelines. Demonstrate experience, knowledge, and skills in technical discipline of supported domains. Independently perform work with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Job Description

Coordinates scoping and technical review activities for initiated projects and follows the process for project approval throughout the intake and overall lifecycle.​

Creates and tracks end-to-end project plan and milestones in conjunction with all internal and external parties to drive on-time delivery and accuracy of estimated completion dates.​

Proficient at making project scheduling/prioritization decisions, communicating these expectations to our business partners, enforcing accountability with the internal and external organizations to ensure work is being properly prioritized to meet our commitments and providing reporting on major milestones to facilitate conversations necessary for decision making.

Reports on project's progress and updates database (P2) as required by project, internal/external partners, and the senior leadership team.​

Reviews and approves estimates & change order requests in accordance with the SOW. A good understanding of the construction SOW and rate structures is required.

Performs field ride-out/walk-outs of project sites for the purpose of business partner oversight: surveying, gathering and recording details, finding solutions, monitoring progress, performing post-construction review.

Ensures the execution of all construction activities performed by business partners meets our quality standards at our agreed upon costs.

Oversees all other elements of the activity of business partners and/or subcontractors including quality checks around alignment with municipal safety requirements, compliance with permitting requirements and compliance with our vendor agreements.

Accepts/Processes work completion packages to allow payment processing.

Identifies and manages critical path items and risk areas and creates risk response and mitigation plans whileQCingend to end project.​

Report weekly (or as necessary) on any risks/issues.​

When required, serves as the Comcast representative to municipalities, developers and for other external critical relationships.

Solve issues as required to unblock open issues working with both internal and external partners and leadership.​

Work with other project managers to track and manage inter-project/domain dependencies.​

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.​

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.​

Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.​

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Relevant Work Experience

2-5 Years

Salary:

Pay Range: $72,233.66 - $108,350.50

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
