CBRE|Heery is actively

seeking an Assistant Superintendent / Construction Coordinator to support

construction projects in the Fort Lauderdale area. Experience on

construction projects is required.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this

position is to provide support to the Construction Project Management team by

traveling to various construction projects in the Fort Lauderdale area to

oversee construction activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES

Travels to multiple

construction projects to review operations, verify progress/project status and

monitor construction activities.

Assists with management

and coordination of subcontractors and general work conditions on construction

job sites.

Assists with

coordination of work in the field, anticipation of upcoming work and analysis

and resolution of conflicts between the contract documents, owner's intentions

and field conditions.

Reviews and analyzes

shop drawing and owner project information.

Works as part of a team

to deliver contractual responsibilities, mindful of quality, schedule and

financial performance.

Enters project

information data (i.e. project status updates, schedule updates, cash flow

forecasts) and project documentation into project management technology tools

(software applications, web-based tools, job cost accounting tools).

Assists in project

close-out procedures for all projects

Other duties may be

assigned.

No formal supervisory

responsibilities in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or

university program certificate or minimum five years related experience or

equivalent combination of education and experience.

10 years’ experience in

preferred

Experience with K-12

construction projects is preferred.
